Calculate per-reaction components and total master mix volumes for conventional PCR using a 2× mix, primers and template.
How it works
Method: Water per reaction = total reaction volume − sum of other components. Bulk master mix = per-reaction master-mix volume × reaction count × (1 + excess fraction).
Example: For twelve 25 µL reactions with 10% excess and 1 µL template added individually, prepare enough shared master mix for 13.2 reaction equivalents.
