How it works
Method: A scatter plot shows paired observations. An optional least-squares fit estimates slope and intercept; Pearson r measures linear association.
Example: For pairs (1, 2), (2, 4) and (3, 6), the fitted slope is 2 and the correlation is 1. This is a purely illustrative dataset.
